Let’s Talk - Death & Dying

A free, monthly drop-in conversation about all things related to death and dying. This is a casual, friendly place to come talk about our experiences, fears, hopes & plans around end-of-life issues. (Please note: this is not a grief support group or counseling session.) Discussions will be facilitated by Dying Matters Guild co-founder, Sarah Seltzer. Everyone is welcome to participate in the conversation or just listen in!

All meetings will be held in person at the Pink House at the PT Public Library (1256 Lawrence Street). Meetings are currently scheduled for the following dates and times:
  • June 28 @ 2 PM - Tuesday
Let's Talk will be taking a break in July & August.

Death Over Drinks

Hosted by Peace of Mind, this group meets the 3rd Thursday of the month (except during the summer) for an informal drop-in conversation about a variety of end-of-life issues. We are continuing to meet by Zoom—please email Carrie Andrews if you'd like to be added to the email notification list and receive the link each month. We generally have 10-15 people each month, and conversations have ranged from, "what does a good death look like?" to an in-depth look at green burial options. We encourage participation from all, but you are welcome to just come listen as well.

Next meeting: September 15, 2022 - 5-6 PM
